TIME MBE is proud to host a TIME Excellence Lecture by Dr. Spiros Arsenis from the National Bank of Greece (NBG). Dr. Arsenis is the coordinator of the NBG Business Seeds Program that finances innovative ventures. His lecture will focus on the Business Seeds Program, NGB’s Financial Technology (fintech) Accelerator, on novel crowdfunding tools such as i-fund and on how the Business Seeds Program has helped private and public initiatives in Crete. Dr. Arsenis will be introduced by the Head of TIME-MBE in Crete, Professor Vangelis Tzouvelekas and by Dr. Andreas Panagopoulos who will offer a brief introduction on crowdfunding.
After the lecture Dr. Vangelis Tzouvelekas will coordinate an open discussion on the merits of Business Seeds Programs for University faculty and spinoff firms.
The event is free and it is scheduled for Thursday 23-11-2017 at Room Δ3 7-Α, 11:30GMT, University Campus.
Undergraduate students are welcome to participate in this event.
