University of Cyprus Open Days

The University of Cyprus (UCY) announces the launch of its 1st Knowledge Festival to be hosted from 7 to 9 April 2017, starting at 11:00 a.m. in the Sports Centre at UCY Campus (1 University Avenue, 1678 Aglantzia – Nicosia). 

The three-day festival, which is free and open to the public, will comprise a number of activities and exhibitions, focusing on knowledge, research, entrepreneurship and career exploration counselling. It aims to inform the attendees about UCY’s work and ongoing advancement, while promoting greater understanding of the Institution’s significant role as an academic hub and a catalyst for development, its culture, values, mission and vision, as well as its stakeholders and partners. Particularly, UCY will showcase amongst other its:

• innovative and reputable study programs (undergraduate & graduate),
• outstanding research conducted in its laboratories,
• important role as key actor and contributor to the development of entrepreneurship and SMEs in Cyprus and
• various activities and products.

In addition, participating parties, UCY and numerous of its partners’ representatives, are given the opportunity to exhibit their services and products and share detailed information about them. At the same time, the Festival will serve as a networking and experience-exchange platform for all participating parties and attendees, who being in the growing Campus, will eventually experience how it feels to be an active member of the UCY community.
